India is a vast, diverse country in South Asia bordered by the Himalayas to the north and the Indian Ocean to the south. It’s a land of contrasts: ancient traditions and modern cities; serene villages and vibrant festivals; dense jungles and sweeping deserts. As a travel destination, India is unlike anywhere else, and it may overwhelm your senses in the best way. It offers profound cultural experiences, deep spirituality, flavorful cuisine, and unforgettable encounters with local communities. Travelers should come with curiosity, open-mindedness, and a sense of adventure!

Best Time to Visit India

The best time to visit most of India is from October to March, when the weather is generally cooler and drier. In northern India, where our current trips are located, daytime temperatures range from 65–85°F (18–29°C) during this period, making it ideal for exploring cities, wildlife parks, and rural villages. Summers (April–June) can be incredibly hot, and the monsoon season (July–September) is quite wet, albeit this means fewer tourists and less crowds!

Sustainable Package Trips in India

We offer privately guided package trips through a wonderful locally-owned Indian partner who crafts enriching, responsible itineraries with a focus on sharing culture through storytelling. These packages are ideal for families and groups of curious travelers, and often include engaging artisan visits, hands-on workshops, and immersive homestays. Explore iconic sites like the Golden Triangle (Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur) or journey through Rajasthan with its majestic forts, colorful markets, and desert charm. Wildlife lovers can enjoy surprising biodiversity in national parks such as Ranthambore and Kaziranga, spotting tigers, elephants, and rare birds in their natural habitats.
