Egypt
Egypt is located in North Africa, bordered by the Mediterranean Sea to the north and the Red Sea to the east. Home to one of the world’s oldest civilizations, Egypt captivates travelers with its iconic ancient monuments like the pyramids of Giza, the Valley of the Kings, and the temples of Luxor and Abu Simbel. Visitors can expect a vibrant blend of culture, history, and hospitality, alongside desert landscapes, bustling souks, and world-class scuba diving.
Best Time to Visit Egypt
The best time to visit Egypt is between October and April, when temperatures are milder and more comfortable for exploring cultural sites or enjoying Red Sea activities. For scuba diving, especially in the Red Sea near Marsa Alam or Hurghada, the ideal months are April to June and September to November, with sea temperatures averaging 75–84°F (24–29°C) and air temperatures ranging from 70–85°F (21–29°C).
